At Arizona Sunrays, we offer a variety of high-quality competitive programs to our community while empowering individuals to reach their highest potential through fun, fitness, and the love of gymnastics.

Our experienced and educated team work as one to provide a safe, fun, and supportive atmosphere where each athlete is encouraged to push the boundaries of their minds and physical abilities. We can all learn, grow, and thrive together — as families serving families.

Competitive Programs

Whether you are just starting your gymnastics journey or looking to reach the highest levels this sport can offer, we provide three competitive pathways for your athlete’s growth and progression:
Optional Program
Ages 8-18
20-25 hrs weekly
Details
Dedicated and advanced gymnasts aspiring to compete at a national and collegiate level. This program emphasizes comprehensive skill development and technical training, while also maintaining a balance between enjoyment and the physical demands of the sport. Our Compulsory and Xcel Programs can both lead to this high level of gymnastics.
Xcel Program
Ages 7-18
6-16 hrs weekly
Details
A fun competitive option for athletes of all skill levels. This program emphasizes personal growth, more individualized skill sets, and the team atmosphere with more flexibility to balance all of life’s priorities.
Compulsory Program
Ages 5-12
10-16 hrs weekly
Details
Designed for young, eager athletes ready to build a solid foundation in competitive gymnastics. This program offers structured routines for skill acquisition and technique development while fostering a lasting love for the sport.

Sunrays Academy

The Sunrays Academy is designed to foster individual growth, confidence, and excellence in both academics and athletics. We provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where students can think independently, explore their interests, and develop academically - without the pressure of state assessments or excessive homework.

Competitive Team Seniors

Arizona Sunrays currently coaches gymnasts at the Compulsory, Xcel, Optional and Elite level. We are proud to have placed gymnasts on the U.S. National Team, and to have helped over 48 gymnasts sign collegiate scholarships. Our Competitive team continually wins State, Regional and National awards.
