"To name just a few of the amazing benefits of teaching children through movement is giving the children vestibular input, proprioceptive input, increasing body awareness, building strong minds and bodies, gaining gymnastic skills and wonderful exercise. How awesome it is for these young kiddos to not only learn the months of the year, but to learn where their hand and body are in space, thus helping them with future handwriting, reading, fine and gross motor skills. That should be awarded gold stars for sure!"
