Arizona Sunrays Classic Rock Invitational 2025: A Showdown of Talent and Energy

The Arizona Sunrays Classic Rock Invitational was an unforgettable weekend of athleticism, music, and fun! Over 90 gymnastics clubs from North America, including six teams from Mexico, came together, showcasing the diversity and inclusivity of our gymnastics community. This year's competition was a resounding success, drawing near-record attendance and leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.

A staggering 2,500 athletes showcased their incredible skills, with over 100 Sunrays iTeam athletes making their debut at an off-site competition. Their enthusiasm and determination were evident in every routine, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend.

What made this event truly unique was the incredible live music provided by the fantastic band Alibi, who rocked out no less than nine times throughout the weekend. Their energetic performances kept the crowd entertained and in high spirits while athletes competed at the highest level. And who could forget the chance to snap a selfie with the King himself-Elvis! Thousands of Elvis-themed selfies were taken, adding a fun, quirky touch to the event and bringing even more light-hearted energy to the competition.

Twelve vendors also attended the event, offering everything from gym gear to professional photos, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy. The stakes were high for the winners: 50 lucky teams walked away with a brand-new electric guitar, a unique twist on the usual competition awards that left everyone excited for future events.

This year’s Classic Rock Invitational was powered by the hard work and dedication of over 300 volunteers, who brought this fantastic event to life. Their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment made it a resounding success. We couldn’t have done it without every one of you—thank you, thank you, thank you!
