| Arizona Sunrays Top Gymnast Qualifies for the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup |
| Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics is proud to announce Maddie Krentz has qualified for The Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup. Maddie qualified for this prestigious competition this past Saturday in Long Beach, California. Maddie is a level 10 gymnast at Arizona Sunrays and recently won the Classic Rock Invitational held at University of Phoenix Cardinals football Stadium.Maddie is an honors student in her sophomore year at Cactus Shadows high school. The inaugural Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup is scheduled for March 5, 2010, at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. The Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup will be held the evening prior to the prestigious Tyson American Cup and use the event’s podium. Gymnasts were chosen to participate in the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup from a series of invitationals known as the Nastia Liukin Cup Series. The Series has been promoted throughout the competitive season with individual meets each selecting a minimum of two athletes to compete in the Cup from their respective fields. The 2010 Nastia Liukin Supergirl Gymnasts who qualify for the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup will receive a Nastia Liukin-designed leotard and a warm-up from GK Elite; two tickets to the Tyson American Cup, and recognition during the event; and the opportunity to meet Nastia Liukin and participate in a team photo. | Arizona Sunrays Level 5,6,7,8,10 Gymnasts take top Team Honors and our Great dance company Preformed for the enthusiastic crowd! Maddie Krentz led our level 10's to a very fun and exciting win of the team championship and a win of the coveted Fender Guitar team trophy. All of our teams, Coaches, dance teachers and team parents did a fantastic job!!! |

| Congratulations to Sunrays Gymnasts for qualifying to the USA TOPS National team! Nicole Duggan and Michelle Halim qualified for the USA TOPS National Team. They have been invited to train at the national team training center in Houston along with Frances Bidwill and Tatum Bruden who qualified for the "B" team! Congratulations also goes out to Sophie Yoder for qualifying for the TOPS Diamond team for 7 and 8 year olds. |

| Our Level 5 and 6 gymnasts had a very successful State Championships hosted by the Arizona Sunrays! Level 5 Hailey Kirsch placed 1st All Around and also took first place on Beam and Bars. Haily's Bar routine earned an amazing 9.8, way to go Hailey! Level 5's Oriana Nevarez and Brianna Rice are State Champions on Beam and Floor respectivley. Our level 6's were the runner up team champions! Individual State Champions are Michelle Hailm - Beam, Mckenzie Schattenberg - Bars, Beam and All Around, Francies Bidwill - Bars, Floor, and Lauren Prince Beam. |

| Save the date- Sunday, December 6th, 2009! Time: 3:00 to 5 pm This event is designed for those children ages 6 to 14 who are currently enrolled in our recreational program. They will perform routines on each event they have been putting together for the last month during class. Extra practice days are available- see below. Please see the office in advance to sign up!
